VALUED
PARIS 2014

I was reading about the importance and differences between self-worth, self-esteem and self-value. I gathered that self Esteem varies based on our very own potential and accomplishments. Self-worth, on the other, is the understanding that you are a person who is worthy of living and breathing and that has nothing to do with your accomplishments, your surrounding, or your current situation you just understand that you are reputed to be a human and you deserve that respect-no questions asked. Self-value is understanding what you as a unique person bring to a relationship, a job, a gathering, and ultimately to yourself-this goes hand in hand with self-worth and typically is reflective of your choice of relationships, how you treat yourself, and allow others to treat you and how you view yourself as a whole. This isn't something that you get from a partner- you build it within yourself through a healthy IFS and understanding of your parts. I know that it took me a very long time to truly start defining my own 'SELF' which I have shared previously. There is still that tiny part of me that might seek validation through relationships or friendships but investing in my growth has taught me that no amount of validation is Enough to make you feel valued or worthy- I can attest to that. So here is a manifestation that you can speak over your person when you do not feel as worthy or valued:
