POSITIVE VISUALIZATION

POSITIVE VISUALIZATION
CHOSE A POSITIVE NARRATIVE

We are just a few days away from our long-awaited, well-planned trip to Europe which I call my spirits home. My boys, mother, and a good friend will all be a part of this trip. About 10 days before our flight, my mother's passport was nowhere to be found. The shipping company made several attempts to deliver it and Eventually tried shipping it back to the French Embassy which was undeliverable. When I contacted FedEx to correct the small address discrepancy, I was told that it was too late and that my mom's passport was located in a lost and found warehouse somewhere in Mississippi. My stomach noted up, I instantly felt anxious so anxious that I could not sleep that night. My anxiety Escalated more when FedEx notified me that the passport could not be shipped until the Embassy confirmed their FedEx account number-sadly the Embassy was unreachable for days and when they Emailed back their response was unhelpful. My anxiety was through the roof, I barely slept, could not work out, barely even drank water and I dwelled on the chance that my mom will not be able to travel with us which would break my soul. I wanted her to see Europe and start making new memories-long story.

A few days before our trip FedEx decided to ship the passport to us perhaps because neither of us could get help from the Embassy or it could be because I called 10,000x daily. I am creating this post at 3 am in the ER with my youngest son covered in an awful-looking rash 2 days before our trip but I learned after allowing my anxiety to take over with my mom's passport issues that being that anxious was so bad for me. We completely zone in on the unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances in life and forget to visualize the positive and allow the universe to do her job -yes HER. So from this moment moving forward, let's choose to visualize only the positive in my life.
