THE POWER OF KNOWING YOUR WHY

THE POWER OF KNOWING YOUR WHY
THE FUEL BEHIND THIS RISING LEGACY

'Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.” — Oprah Winfrey.

Creating the grandest vision was never my challenge; maintaining that vision and not losing focus has been more challenging than I thought. The doubt and fear creep in when I get closer to a significant career milestone, so consuming that I almost lose focus. With all the hard work and dedication, time away from kids, the bullshit I dealt with, money, etc., you start to wonder WTF it's all for, and then you feel numb. I recently had one of those moments; I invested several nonrefundable hours, time, and money into something that was not worth my energy. However, BOY! I learned so much from that experience. The power of shifting focus back to the WHY is vital. It is your dream's lifeline. Isn't it so much easier to stop trying and be SQUARE? But how could you be a SQUARE when you love something so much that the thought of you dying without doing that one thing makes you nauseous?

Back in 2020, I had entirely lost myself; I walked into my marriage fully codependent and at the mercy of a covert narcissist; it was an extremely damaging season but also the pivotal point that my life needed to start unpacking HERSELF. Depressed and borderline crazy, I desperately sought professional counseling and started gaining visibility of WHO I am. My goals, dreams, and aspirations became so clear that they scared me. I knew in my gut what I needed to do. The WHY keeps me grinding even when I feel lost, uncertain, overwhelmed, doubtful, at wit's end, etc. I go back to my WHY.
