WORTH LIVING

WORTH LIVING

I wrote a poem today, a monologue/poem. I will get to perform it next year in NY at the international model and talent Event. I'm so blessed to have gotten selected for that. It will be the beginning of a major shift in my acting and modeling career can feel it. But I wrote a poem, actually, I wrote two, and I'd like to share the insights of one of them. It's about a life worth living. The character is a lady in her 30's telling her friend who has been disappointed and heartbroken about the Essence of life. She says Everything comes to an End but when we offer ourselves a broader perspective, it isn't so sad. It becomes the start of a new journey. Maybe the poem is about my own journey. She also tells her friends to get busy living or get busy dying. To wake up and face her fears or seat there and let them swallow her. Is that your life? what are you living for? Is it worth living or you are just being swallowed? She tells her friend to leave the brokenness behind and revisit it later when she is ready -we don't have to uncover all the trauma in one day. She Ends with the quote 'one day this war will come to an End ' and she Exits. I guess I wrote a short play about two close friends, one trying to motivate the other. I figured I'd be the friend who needs to motivate you today, you need to get busy living SIS. Life is not forever, Toutes chose a ca fin(Everything comes to an End) don't look back and regret not fully living.
